Educational Value

At hue creative studio students experience art processes and use high quality art media. Given invitations to create with some instruction in technique. Students are encouraged to explore and discover the possibilities and limitations of the art media. Make creative decisions and carry out concept to their age abilities. Each class is a new experience with similar media to enhance the repetition and the novelty of each creation. Process art focuses on the making of the art and not the outcome! This type of art is also rich in concrete, developmentally appropriate skills: coordination and fine motor control spacial reasoning sensory exploration cognitive development through planning, comparison and problem-solving social and emotional maturation through increased focus, collaboration with others and feeling pride and success.
